Myofascial Cupping
It is a method of applying a glass cup to the skin with a slight suction. Unlike traditional massage therapy, which works to compress tissue, cupping provides negative pressure to skin, connective tissue, and muscles, drawing up these underlying tissues to promote blood flow and break apart adhesions.
Cupping has been found to affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages, and increase local circulation.
