The most amazing kale chips I’ve ever eaten!
Its been a long time coming, I know. The anticipation has been killing you lol
Sorry for the delay.
I spent quite some time trying recipes for kale chips to find my favorite one…. And here it is!
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 2 bunches of kale
- 1 cup cashew nuts
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme if you have it on hand – crazy, right? Trust me!
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to get the right consistency – thick but creamy
- squeeze lemon juice
- 1 tsp of tumeric
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Toss all the ingredients (except for the Kale) into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add water until you get the consistency of a cheese sauce.
- tear the leaves off of the spine of the kale.
- wash the kale and dry thoroughly.
- pour the Go Nuts “Cheese” Sauce over the kale until fully coated. Get right in there with your hands and mix it up well!
OVEN: place on a baking tray and bake at 135° C (275° F) for about 25 minutes – flipping over half way through.
DEHYDRATOR: place on the rack and set to dry at 50° C (130° F) for about 10-12 hours or overnight.
There ya have it! Enjoy! <3
