It all began when a Qi-Gong mentor had commented on my “healing hands” during a Sunday morning park Tai-Chi and Qi-Gong practice. Being curious, I decided to explore what that meant, leading me into an extensive background in alternative holistic approaches. Now, it has been almost 10 years of practicing and teaching Jikiden Reiki, a hands-on healing modality that has many benefits from pain relief and reduction in inflammation from injury—to maintaining mental health and the fullness of spirit.
As a result of continuing to commit to healing, both because of a personal injury from a major life changing vehicle accident in 2011 and a great desire to educate others, I graduated as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2013. My affinity towards the betterment and balance of body, mind, and soul, has encouraged an active pursuit of deepening my knowledge around proper body mechanics, myofascial planes, and strengthening and stretching, as these are areas easily accessible within our lives that we can use to initiate a happier and healthier lifestyle. Integrating physical practices with the concept of energy work has gifted me the ability to address chronic and acute injuries in my clients beyond average the therapeutic practices.
I gain an immense gratification from developing the perfect treatment for my clients, sometimes combining modalities such as deep tissue, therapeutic massage, craniosacral, Reiki, and hydro-Jade therapies into a session unique to each individual.
Transitioning from a life of physical pain and mental/spiritual unwellness into a life which allows me to feel whole and balanced has brought a lot of joy for me. It is part of my mission and vision to be able to guide others into a similar state of being, because balance is something every one of us deserves and a space I would love to see us all within.”
