<p>Are you getting enough? <br/>What happens to the body when you&#8217;re not getting enough sleep?</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Depression</li><li>Anxiety</li><li>Disruption of circadian rhythm</li><li>Impaired cognition</li><li>Higher risk of hypertension</li><li>Higher risk of stroke</li><li>Higher risk of heart disease</li><li>Increased risk of breast cancer</li><li>Higher risk of diabetes</li><li>Unhealthy cravings</li><li>Higher risk of injury</li></ul>



<p>Now, what can you do to change this? LOTS! Some may work&#8230;and some may not. You kinda have to try them out and see what works for you. Here are a few things you can try:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Massage</li><li>Meditation</li><li>Incorporating physical activity into your day</li><li>Lymphatic Drainage</li><li>Yoga/Yoga Nidra</li><li>Sex (ha! Yep, I said it!)</li><li>Walks in nature</li><li>Time spent with loved ones</li><li>Sleep with your phone in another room</li><li>No Electronics past a certain time (an hours or so before bedtime)</li><li>Have a bed time routine. (washing face, brushing teeth, mediation)</li><li>Cut back on caffeine</li></ul>
